Caochangdi PhotoSpring was the first international photography festival in Beijing. Since 2010, the festival has been committed to showcasing the richness of Chinese photography and the diversity of international photography. Caochangdi PhotoSpring is presented in collaboration with the world-famous Les Rencontres d'Arles, providing a dynamic and professional platform for exchange and dialogue.
The 2010 and 2011 action-packed editions featured an exciting series of events, including symposiums, PhotoFolio reviews, book launches, concerts, film screenings and more. The festival welcomed more than 20,000 visitors in 2010 and more than 30,000 visitors in 2011. This year, the opening weekend runs from Saturday, April 21 to Tuesday, April 24, with exhibitions running through May 31, 2012. Caochangdi PhotoSpring is sure to be even more successful and eventful in its third year.

The purpose of this publication is to feature well-known photographer in a very limited edition book of 40 pages. Released each month in a 18x25 cm format, zines aims to be valuable and collector. The final piece will be well designed with specific finitions as for exemple, embossing.
