His research is related to the aesthetic of destruction and its aftermath, focusing on demolitions, landslides, explosions and collective memory: signs and traces by Man and Nature in the Landscape. Since 1999 he has exhibited his work in one-man and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, winning important international awards. He usually gives lectures and educational workshops in museums and institutions. From 2004 to 2013 he taught at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin and since 2006 he is artistic director of the Rapallo Contemporary Photography “Artist in residence” program.
